Esther's Testimony

My name is Esther Burch , I was born in Elmira New York to Lester and Laura Potter. I was the third born of 14 children and then mom and dad adopted one more which made 15 children. I was born to a Christian family and gave my heart to the Lord and was saved, baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit at the age of 10.

I was brought up in a Pentecostal Church and stayed there until the age of 21 when I moved to California.

I married my first husband at the age of 16 and we lost our first baby. The doctor told me that because of the shape of my womb I could get pregnant but would never be able to carry a child. Not accepting that, I got prayed for in a tent revival and had 4 beautiful children. I got pregnant with my 5th child and got sick with scarlet fever and was advised by the doctor to abort my pregnancy because the child would not be born normal and would most likely have brain damage. I knew that God was in control of my life and if he wanted to take this baby home he would take it and not put that decision on me. I had my last child Charity and she was born beautiful just like the other four.

After 16 years of marriage my husband chose to divorce me, although I was heartbroken God gave me the most precious man who loved and adored our family, we were married for 29 wonderful years until God called him home March 15 2001.

I was diagnosed with melanoma cancer in November 2007 and had to go through very painful treatments for 18 months while I lived in Roswell. God healed me from that! He created fresh new skin and when I went to a doctor here in Las Cruces he doubted that I ever had it. He wanted to see the records from Roswell because he said my skin was to smooth and clean to have ever had cancer. When God does a job, He does it beautiful!!

In November 2009 after many tests from two different doctors I was diagnosed with Parkinson Disease. He said I most likely have had it for a while and that eventually it would get so bad that I would have to depend completely on my daughter, Charity, to take care of me. I had to take medication to help me to stop shaking but it also made me so tired that all I would do is sleep. I felt like a zombie.
I questioned God and asked Him how come I wasn't getting my healing yet, I knew he could and would heal me because He has healed me in the past. On May 8th I really felt like I had received my healing and Pastor Reggie told me that he felt like I had been healed so I decided to stand on faith and stop taking my medication. I have had so much energy and have started doing things with my daughter and even enjoy cooking for our family! Praise God he is still in the miracle working business! Once again I had been down for 18 months and then received my healing! No more walker, I can even run and jump!

In April 2011 I was getting nose bleeds so badly that every few days I was in the hospital until finally after almost 4 weeks they decided to send me to an Ear, Nose & Throat specialist who found the problem and fixed it on May 10th. He didn't guarantee that it would work but if it didn't I would need surgery. Praise God it worked and I have not had one bloody nose since then and today is the 28th!

One more thing... I realized while crocheting a granny square blanket, that God healed me from arthritis that was in my hands!
